Spatio-temporal visualisation for natural disasters
In this tutorial, we will use data visualisations of weather and hazard forecasts to better understand the impacts of natural disaster events.
Kate Saunders is a lecturer at the Monash University. Her core research interests are problems in statistical climatology, with a specific interest in climate extremes and extreme value theory. Her PhD studies were in applications of extreme value theory for modelling rainfall extremes in Australia at the University of Melbourne.
